looks great but for me replace potatoes with zuccini and I'm there for a great low carb meal! I do better cutting out something and not mixing carbs and fats to lose weight😞! I can barely lose anyway but I'm sticking in! if it works for you that's great.

Good comfort food. Why not cut out or reduce the amount of potato and add a green vegetable.

Phyll & Veg, I have been in maintenance for almost a year. When I was in weight loss I might have substituted a vegetable. I never eliminated carbs from my meals but I did do lower carb. I also probably would have had only one sausage. As it is the potatoes with a bit of olive oil for cooking were just under 100 calories.

This meal....including 2 glasses of wine....one of which I sipped in front of the fire watching TV after dinner....was 894 calories.

Thanks for sharing your meals, Sherry. I truly don't understand why people think everyone is looking for advice or modifications when the post doesn't remotely suggest they're looking for tips on calorie or carb reduction. A simple click on someone's profile also shows you whether they are losing weight or maintaining. As a general rule, it's probably not a good idea to give advice to someone who isn't asking for it especially if they have had success with what they are doing. Besides, I'm not sure why everyone thinks they are an expert on what to eat.
