Fat secret is linked to a user name and info is stored on their servers. Simple, when you get new iphone, load app and input your current user name and password for FS. It will then have all you details available. I run FS on my ipad, Iphone and laptop, all with the same user name.  

Just did the test now, and it works. So tried and tested. If you want to test. Click on the more tab at bottom right side. Then click settings, then click log out. Just make sure you know your user name and password 

Thanks Mike I know my user name but not password as my cuz set it up and can't remember  

Go onto google. Type FatSecret recover password Brings up screen. Type your email address/ user name and follow directions 

Tks Mike but don't seem to get it right ....I will be going on my new phone with a new name and starting my app over
