Mental Health is just as important as the Physical....

So lately ive been focusing on what i look like and what society expects rather than what I Feel and what I need....ive been neglecting one of the most important things in life...all the while telling myself "hey atleast i look good right"

Dieting/work/Relationships/stress it all effects who we are and sometimes you just have to take a step back and look at things from a different perspective and for me that means working on something else other than my body...

I write this to say, if you are out there, struggling....riding out the storm..just know that you're not alone...I believe the fitness community is one of the most positive forces out there, i believe you are strong enough to overcome anything youre dealing with....and I believe in you.

Look After yourselves!!!

This is a great post. I agree-it is very important to take care of your whole body and your mind. You can do all the exercise and eat clean 100% of the time but you also have to monitor what your thoughts, what's on your social media and how you speak to yourself. It's just as important as the external health aspect.

Thank you for sharing such an important thought 💭... it is probably the most important aspect of what we all are trying to do, our thoughts about ourselves... I realized this a little while ago but you simply put it in words for me... I often was very aware of what people were saying or not saying about my change in weight loss or rather the change in how I looked. I came to the conclusion that what others thought was not as important as what I thought about myself. How I felt about myself. I found that even when I was complimented, my response was negative if I did not feel good about me and the compliment was all wasted on me. I needed to believe in my progress and feel positive about me to reflect exactly that... thank you for sharing such a great and encouraging thought...
