Hey nozwakele, I prefer longer hard fasts like not eating anything for 24hours or more, because that's when I see proper results. But for someone like you who is new to intermittent fasting, if suggest you start off easy, try the 16:8 fast, simply means you fast for 16 hours, from 8pm- 12pm noon. then you have an eating period of 8 hours, from 12pm noon- 8pm... as time goes by, your body will adapt to fasting and you'll be able to do longer fasts. fasting has many benefits besides weight loss. you think more clearly, it kills cancer cells and you have tons of energy, body functions just way better in general

from 12pm to 8 pm do you eat 2 meals or three ?

Depends on you really how you wana divide your calories. I consume 800 calories a day, so I do OMAD, one meal a day, sometimes I have 2 meals - 400 calories lunch and 400 calories dinner= 800cals
