I'm glad for this. Tonight, we are having game night with family and friends. We are going to be making tacos and fajitas buffet style. Instead of recording every bite, I'm going to save my calories for tonight and hopefully I won't have much of a gain tomorrow. 🤞

I finally had my appointment with the RDN today (they kept rescheduling), and it turns out 1800 should be the minimum number of calories I can have each day without sacrificing my milk supply. Good to know because I was considering dropping to 1500 😅 They said my goal should be to lose 1lb a week, 4 lbs a month. Ugh, does that seem so slow! But I have to do what's best for my boy and it won't be for forever. My goal is to breastfeed for at least 6 months to a year. Once finished, I can cut back to 1300 cals a day, which would be my preference.

Ate about 1800 cals yesterday and my milk supply remained unchanged. I think I might continue with 1800 over the course of the week and see if it continues the same. If so I'll drop my cals to 1500. I've tried researching online and there is a lot of conflicting info, each site spitting out a different number of calories I should be getting. So trial and error it is for now. Definitely shedding some water weight.
