I've been married 24 years, have two adult children and am living with Type II Diabetes. I weighed close to 340 lbs in April of 2014 and am 5'7" tall. In addition, I've been battling with a weight problem most of my adult life. I lost over 100 lbs by following the Weight Watchers 'POINTS' program 11 years ago, but soon after that the stress in my life sky-rocketed (son sent to Iraq among other things), and so too did my weight. I now have lower back & hip issues and upper body nerve damage, as well as the diabetes and *must* lose weight. I'm not using any weight loss program this time around, however I AM using the tools and training from Weight Watchers, following a low-carb diet, and exercising as often as I can with my personal physical challenges.
