Isn't that one meal more than one should have for the entire day to lose weight? I am setting my goal at 20 carbs max per day. I am not watching calories or fat. I am trying to totally avoid carbs and sugars...and it's Christmas. All the cookies need to go...

Carbs are fine if you can stay in your calories. Most people can’t historically. I am one of them.

Lizchkalove - yes I use a whole wheat pasta that listed as ‘heart smart’
It’s a healthier alternative to regular and tastes great.
MacNova - ty, yes I am one of the few not on a low carb diet. I do track my carbs and keep within a range but I don’t try to eliminate like some ppl do :)
My main goal is lower calories and thus far it works for me. When i am ‘behaving’ that is :)

Bronbegg:
A tbsp margarine
2-3 cloves of garlic
Diced Veggies of your choice
Shrimp
Pasta
Parsley, salt and pepper
Optional: parmigiana
Med heat: melt margarine and sauté garlic till aromatic (about 4/5 minutes)
Add veggies and sauté till tender crisp. Add shrimp. Sauté until shrimp is pink and warm.
Reduce heat. Add cooked pasta toss to coat and sauté on low.
Add parsley, salt n pepper to taste.
Sprinkle with cheese if desired
