Just found out they opened a Popeye's here in town yesterday.... lord give me strength 🍗😭😂😭👐

Ugh my FIL loves that place. Before he moved in w us I was getting him Popeyes weekly plus the old me would have a shrimp po boy. Like weekly. And FF. No more. He kept complaining that they must use old chickens lol so we just stopped getting him Popeyes all together. Now the 16 yo that's a different story. Stay strong! If u must go just incorporate it.

In a perfect world their chicken strips would be low carb. That's all I really like there anyway.

make your own chicken strips with mayo and crushed pork rinds for breading. Even my grandkids like them

Yeah, I usually do them with pork rinds and parmesan romano cheese. I added everything in on my food diary to have them and ended up falling asleep super early before I could make it. I just woke up and it's almost 1 a.m so I won't be having it tonight.
