Woot woot. That’s the magic bullet ! Bullseye 🎯 thank god the travel weight fell off quickly.
Realizing now I can’t be trusted with portions. I hate buying pre packed snacks but if I don’t I tend to over eat. Prepacked snacks gives me environmental guilt because of the extra packaging. But until I lose weight I’m gonna have to.

Good job with the travel loss! You're better than me if you can have prepacked snacks because I tend to just go back to the pantry or fridge and get more. Portion control is important but is hard sometimes. I have actually make 1/4 grilled cheese sandwich!

Ok yes I’ve been tempted to have more than one but I hide the snacks in the truck of my car or at work so I can’t get to it. I seriously lack self control. Stupid thing is when it’s not there I don’t loon for it. And I’m satisfied with the one bag of whatever.

You can always pack your own snacks in single serve portions in either baggies or reusable containers. I never eat snacks from a big bag....always put a serving in a bowl.

I prep my own snack for that very reason. I use a small Tupperware container for the perfect AMT of raw veggies. I do use snack baggies when we travel though. I even put popcorn or nuts in baggies. I'll eat the whole thing if I didn't. You know what works for you so do what you need to do. You're in top of it!💜

Thanks Diana and sherry. When you make your snack packs in baggies is it safe to keep in the car for a week or so? I’m concerned with the plastic and heat.

I don't leave anything in the car, like that. We live in the country & would be inviting mice. I would suggest a small cooler if you want to leave snacks in the car. Even if you don't use ice packs I think the temperature would be more regulated. I don't know that there's a big difference between prepackaged & baggies.

I organize my snacks into glass containers the day before or morning of. It's usually nuts, seeds, and fruit, veggies, eggs and occasionally cheese. I have a handheld fabric cooler/lunch bag where I place one or two ice packs and keep my snacks, lunch, and sometimes breakfast. Half the time I don't eat my snacks and they get reused the next day.

Thanks sherry and outer. Yeah my snacks are more for my work commute home. I don’t get home until late or have time for dinner before the gym since I drive from NJ to NY. Snacks are a staple for my energy at the gym. I don’t always need to eat it. Depends on how busy my day was and if my lunch was large enough to cover both meals. Usually yes but sometimes it doesn’t and I’m hungry or concerned I won’t have enough energy to climb. And sometime I miss lunch completely cause the day gets a way from me. Snacks keep my from getting dizzy and nauseas. So they stay in the car and also keeps me from snacking in the house when I’m mindlessly feeling snackish. I won’t go outside and walk to the backyard just to my trunk to get some pistachios

P$m, I live in the desert so in summer time I can’t leave anything in car or it would melt. Average temperature in cars in summer is 125-130 degrees. Other than that if you had baggies inside a cooler or a container I think it would be ok.
