I started gym and I'm feeling better and have more energy. staying positive wish I had a buddie to gym with its not nice on my own.

Join a class! I'm horrible at going by myself, but group classes are great motivation.

Buddies can help but also deter I found that plugging in my mp3 player to a really hopping fav song or and audiobook helps too. Taking my kids with me on walks means my pace is slower so i actually prefer no buddies myself. I work harder when I focus on what I am doing, keeping good form and pushing myself.

I just take my phone and headset and listen to Pandora , chat with people here and there. I'm focused on my workout so it's ok. I wouldn't be doing the same things as a buddy anyway.
