Happy Sunday. Slept till 9 and missed my window to work out before the funeral Im going to so adjusting my routine. Decided to make a nice low carb breakfast for the Mr and Im about to start to get ready. In the past I would have just used this as reason to skip a work out but not the new me. Ill just do my chores then hit the park tonite for a brisk walk. Anything counts in my book. Gonna sit down with the kid and plan my week, maybe make a meal plan and reset my goals. The passing of two friends this week has really made me think that I really need to start loving myself more and I need to get to a dr for my past due annual check up. My last biometrics were fine but Im at that age where I feel like I just need to 100% there is nothing going on. LOL. Had a heart to heart with mom and we talked about life in insurance and all that. I guess it was time.. Hope every one has a great day..and a great week. AT BASE CAMP, the weather is clear and the sky is blue. We are all set ! I can see the peak from here...

The funeral was beautiful as far as funerals go.It was a celebration of life. I was ok till the end then I finally broke down but I was surrounded by friends and we got thru it together. Afterwards I saw so many people I hadn't seen in 6 months and everyone I mean everyone kept telling me how great I looked. Lots of compliments on the new hair but every one was so proud of my weight loss. I got a lot of compliments about how much younger I looked. Everyone kept talking about how Ryan touched them individually and I remembered how he taught me to really believe in my myself. Ive been kinda down for a while but being there with friends today and remembering how Ryan had really helped me personally to be the best version of myself that I can be turned it around.I cant explain it. So, all though it was a sad occasion something really good has come out of this. Ive got a renewed outlook on life, my goals and myself. The compliments really boosted my ego and I feel invisible. RIP Ryan Reddick.. and thank you for giving me my life back today... this was your gift from beyond.. RANT OVER, thanks everyone for listening.
