Also read The Hobbit & LOTR. Think it was the summer of 6th or 7th grade. Ruined reading for me since I couldn‘t find anything as engaging. Wasn‘t afraid of Gollum though. But Dominik in "The House That Dripped Blood“ stills scares the crap out of me. Somehow my mother thought taking a 9-yr old to a triple feature drive-in horror show was a good thing. 🤷‍♂️
