IM BACK! Woke up at 730am this morning and went to meat market and stocked up then went to the grocery store after. Spend 320$ on healthy, meaty, cheesy and veggie goodness for me and the fam. Came home and got rid of a lot on the crap left over from the 4 days of eating whatever I wanted and stashed the rest for my husband in his "snack" drawer. I planned my list off the Atkins book week one of induction. I didn't even gets nuts.. Im going hard core. I had a heart to heart with my mom last night and really laid it out on the table. I don't like how I feel when I don't eat clean and low carb. Mom doesn't diet but laying all out like that made it more real and she knows how hard we have been working. Mike and I talked about it. Poor kid practically begged me for salad. It was nice to enjoy meals with every one but what I should have done is modified my meals like I do for thanksgiving and xmas. Meh, so no sense crying over split milk.Today is a new day. Not gonna whine about the scale tomorrow bc I know its coming. Ive learned a real valuable lesson that needs to be learned and its just going to make me stronger and more resilient when the cravings come this week. Im at base camp.. gear is packed and we are commencing our climb!!! Planning my work then working my plan.. I hoping everyone is enjoying this hot Sunday, where ever you are .. and know .. I am so grateful to have friends like all of you and place like this to come to!!!

Sounds like a good plan, I'm going to try the meat and cheese thing for breakfast and see if it holds me I'm so sick of eggs. Have a great new start you can do it.

Onward and upward....we have all been in your shoes and yes, some of us will be there again. The thing is that after each fall or slip that we learn what caused it and how it can be avoided the next time. Good gracious, I have been there.... Think there are quite a few of us who will be joining you with clean eating this week. We are all in this together so let's remember to support and pull hard on that rope during the climb.
