I want to get a squat rack, barbell, weights, and an EZ bar. But I do pretty good with my dumbbells.

Unhealthy if this wasn’t available that would’ve been next. Actually now that I think about it if I was handier I probably would’ve gone your route. Custom project would be really neat. 😀

Moonflow I’m using dumbbells too and I don’t know about you but I’m having limits now because of my arms getting fatigued faster than my lower parts. My arms just never feel rested anymore. Lol

I have the opposite problem, I can get to failure on my biceps, but I don't have the soreness that indicates I've gotten to the point of doing the trauma to stimulate growth and strength gains. I've been stalled out on the last 4 workouts on my curls. I'm not sure how to proceed...

@moon, muscle soreness does not equal gains. Generally, the muscle soreness will decrease after the beginner phase if you work that muscle frequently. If you are working to failure, eating enough protein and getting enough rest, you should be getting bigger & stronger muscles.
I am only feeling DOMS in my legs these days. My upper body just has joint pain/discomfort. I work each muscle group every 4 days.

I almost never get bicep soreness and I do 3 sets of dumbell preacher curls, 3 sets of hammer curls , 3 sets of reverse curls with the ez bar and sometimes a few sets of regular curls with the ez bar all to failure. On pull day workouts. TuD is spot on with his post

APhoebe haha don't worry you will have a gymsimilar to mine soon enough it's an addiction and you have been feeding it hahah you made the big leap this time with the squat rack it only gets worse form here 😄
