Ginome peanuts sound really good. I should eat more of those and less peanut butter. 😅 Out of curiosity did you weigh them or were they prepackaged? I’m debating weighing some foods again 🤷‍♀️

I love peanuts, they're keto friendly in moderation and keep me satiated for longer because of the protein and high fat content. 150g cost around 800++ cals though😅 but still under 30 carbs. Normally I will do omad on the day I had them, "Normally"😁. Surprisingly as far as I can remember I've always record a loss the next day I had them. Had them a lot this week 900g so far, 4500++ cals worth. Still tomorrow's weigh in seems promising, I hope🤭. Yup I weigh them, most of the time.

The chili looks amazing! A friend who teaches gardening and nutrition to kids told me they're finding that intact nuts effectively give the body fewer calories than the official count. Calories are determined in a lab by burning the foodstuff. When your body has to work a bit to extract the calories, as often happens with whole plant foods, the calories absorbed are less than those recorded from a calorimeter. Still calorie dense, but not quite so much so

Wow nice to know writing. I've read about TEF, termic effect of food where certain food force our body to work more to break them down. Probably the goes hand in hand.👍

Shawarma is next Wednesday.. and if not January 😬 The time is just flying now. Adding nuts to my diet is also on my list. They disappeared for me bc of how I used to eat them (mindless handfuls😅) I bet it’ll lessen the peanut butter cravings. Thx for all the good info 🥜❤️
