Yes, Audrey and thank you! Actually most of it is super easy as everything goes in raw and then the stock added. The chicken is just oven cooked and the egg…well am still proud of that 😆

Yeah the egg seems perfect. Is it tea brewed? I remember this technique to make the tea eggs. Were lovely. 🍵🥚

The eggs were simmered for 7 minutes then carefully peeled and put in a soy/mirin marinade for 24 hours in the fridge, so the marinade adds lots of flavour too.

Yes, Audrey, I love to cook Asian flavours. Thankfully my kids have wide tastes so anything goes. We also cook lots of Mediterranean dishes, Indian…and even British sometimes 😉
