🙋‍♀️Welcome to Motivational Monday; the Evening Edition LOL🍂

I changed my mind several times today for the topic; sorry for the delay!

I want to make some shifts in my diet approach and was scouring the internet: articles, journals, personal stories, Youtube, even Instagram! The information is always so conflicting.😵‍💫

⁉️So, I ask my fellow FSers: where do you get YOUR nutritional information?? what are reliable sources? I think I have a grasp of my basic nutritional needs (after dieticians, nutritionists, naturopaths, pharmacists, and obesity specialist). Answers to specific questions are often difficult to find! For example:

🤔I just wanted to know if tofu is actually healthy (for post-menopausal women) or still demonized. I want to eat fewer animal products (cheese/dairy, butter and oils don't make me feel great), so looking for non-meat protein options (not beans or peas). 👍👎

🤣Not exactly a motivational post LOL; just what I am thinking about tonight!🌃

I try to eat intuitively and pay attention to what foods make me feel good and give me good energy. I avoid meat and dairy and stick to whole plant foods. Although I do enjoy my bit of chocolate or chips here and there! Ultimately I think really paying attention to what your body is asking for is the way to go, and trying to avoid unneeded temptations. If/when you do overindulgence, don’t beat yourself up and instead use it as a learning opportunity.

@Zoligo I really appreciated your comment; I have been thinking this over since you posted it! Thank you! Especially the phrase "pay attention to what foods make me feel good and give me good energy". That is the core, the essence of everything! That is truly the only food plan I need going forth :)
