ImalittleLESSfluffyNOW's Journal, 02 Jul 22

Today makes what I believe, 7 days at the same weight (boo). Now I know I am logging all my food, walking 6 out of 7 days a week and now I've added jumping rope. SO - Me thinks 🤔 maybe it's muscle. No matter sometimes I feel a little deflated when the scale doesn't move.

Tonight is a cookout with BBQ ribs with all the fixings including homemade banana pudding so portion control is a must.

What do you tell yourself when the scale doesn't move? I need some encouragement y'all. TIA

Your body is resetting itself. Frustrating but normal. Keep doing what your doing. You got this! 👍💪

I agree with your assessment. When you start exercising, after being a couch potato, muscles awake. I am working out 5 days a week now. I've been maintaining the same weight but the inches are going down. Try tracking measurements too.

I certainly understand your frustration. If I go 3 consecutive days without progress, I will start to stress. I will walk more, workout a little harder and, and make a contious effort to eat less. I am definitely driven by my successes. I cling to those successes to keep myself motivated. I started this journey back in February, just striving to eat healthier, walk more, and exercising more. I enjoyed aome success and discovered fat secret in April. Since then, my efforts have been rewarded with a loss of 42 pounds since February. Its a marathon, not a sprint.

I second what Petra said. Are you noticing how you’re stronger and have more endurance? Have you incorporated habits that are making you healthier? Those are real wins, and the scale will follow.

Don’t let a freaking number define your internal disposition. Impatience and apathy are the enemy of internal harmony and success. If you’re being disciplined in your daily routine then results will come in time. Impatience is the biggest obstacle to love of self and success. You got this! One man’s opinion 🙂
