Have been doing intermittent fasting the past two weeks with 16:8. Now I want to mix it up with OMAD but wondering how enough calories are consumed with just one meal a day. Any tips would help. Meal ideas

It depends on your lifestyle. If you eat clean, it’s hard to eat enough calories. With a keto diet it’s easier because fats are high in calories. If you still like to eat high carb foods then it won’t be hard. A chocolate with your meal or icecream will easily have you hitting your goal calories but it will leave you feeling hungry after a while and will be harder to fast 23 hours. There are pros and cons to eating omad. It’s good to do it for a month or two and then switching it to 18:6. To eat two meals so you can easily hit your nutritional and calorie goals. There are a few ladies that follow the fasting lifestyle. I’m sure they can give you some helpful tips.

I am trying to eat low carb most of the time. I guess it makes sense to load with high calorie, low carb foods. Thanks. Will record my journey from next week on how it’s going
