Went to a new brunch place with some friends. Biscuit with fried chicken, egg, jalapeno jam and bacon. Side of fruit. Coffee with toasted caramel and makers mark. The biscuit and the coffee stole the show, they were to die for!

I’ve been curious about jalapeño jam I see in country stores. What is it like?

Most of them are sweet with a very faint bit of spice. If you like a little savory in your sweet they're really good. It's one of my go to souvenir buys when I'm road tripping. I like to get local spicy jams or local honey.
