I love that February 1 (and therefore March 1st since it isn't a leap year) are falling on Mondays. I love fresh starts- but I don't really need one. Old me would have noticed that and thought- hmmm...it's the 23rd- I'll just binge and restart on the 1st/Monday. New me binges and restarts when I want to. haha. 😆 And in case anyone cares-November 1 will be on a Monday. If I thought long and hard about it- I would hate it. Mondays are time to turn in payroll and the 1st is when all my receipts for expenses are due and just kind of all kinds of little stuff at work-so to combine the two is 😕 but I WON'T think long and hard about it. I will love it. And since I am feeling chatty- My sister is getting married in August and I found a dress I love that I bought for a wedding in 2019 but was too fat for- still weighing 202 at that time but now it is ridiculously flattering- like I am looking in a fun house mirror- sucked in in all the right places and bigger where I need to be. And for anyone STILL reading this boring journal that I know I am using to procrastinate on the housework-my lifts have increased. I did one arm db rows with 55's for 10 reps. (Actually 12 reps on my right- note to self to start with less dominant next time)And shoulders are up, too and triceps and chest... legs feel stronger but I am not interested in putting more plates on the press but I can tell when I am doing extensions and curls. Other good news- This PB2 peanut butter powder is my new favorite thing to eat. Want more good news? I got a raise last week. Tomorrow's journal will be all the things that suck. But today is sunshine and rainbows. 😊💗🤸🏻‍♀️👗💪🏻🥜🧈💲🥰 The pic has nothing to do with the journal. Wandered around walmart last night to get some steps in instead of eating because I already went to the gym and it was too cold outdoors. Not a very exciting social life.

Thank you, Diana! I'll feel bad if you don't like it. No wonder, Chris- who the hell mixes the peanut butter powder with more peanuts and peanut oil? Are you just kidding? That sounds both difficult and gross. And why your phone so easily autcorrected to "panty butter" is not something you have to explain to me. You are a grown man and if panty butter is your thing- I guess it depends on whose it is.

55s??? Wow! I think I was using 20s or 25s when I was doing them. With the shoulder I haven’t done them in months so probably at like 10s now haha.

DP, I have used that brand too. I would add chocolate protein or chocolate ice cream and maybe a banana. So yummy! Sometimes my drink would taste like a Reese's peanut butter cup. 😋

Thank you. Yes 55's. I was excited. That's 10 pounds up for me. Who knows what next time will bring. Some days I am really strong. Other days I am regular strong. 😁🤷🏻‍♀️

Well my hubby is a big guy and he uses the 50’s! He could go higher but they are in a different area and he doesn’t want to go over there as it’s always crowded. I’m betting he could only to 65-70# maybe a bit more or less. He just does 30 reps with the 50’s each set rather than fight the crowd. I can’t believe how strong you are getting!

Wifey, how tall are you? I’m 5’3” and small framed. I feel like I’m doing so little yet I see much taller ladies doing the same so then I feel good about it lol. I saw a little older lady (she could’ve been anywhere from 50-70 so maybe not older lol) doing 70# on the row machine and was struggling. Not the cable one but the starter type machine. A teenage boy was standing behind her rooting her on, telling her to go a little more, one more etc and holding his hands so she would stop and do another after her elbows hit his hands. I so wanted to go tell her good job! I saw her for the first time a few months ago. While 70# doesn’t seem like much to some, this lady was short, stocky and a newbie so I was impressed! I’m guessing she was about 5’ tall. There’s another shorty I watch sometimes. She’s about my height and super strong! But I think hormones play a role there. She’s female yet plays on boys sports teams, dresses like a boy, binds her breasts etc so we are wondering if she’s changing genders. No judgement there but if so then there’s probably some hormone injections going on. Either way it’s impressive to see her benching like 200#!
