I've been trying to go to the gym in the mornings instead of after work. The house is too busy for me to go at night. I feel like I need to be home in the evenings. Unfortunately I have been waking up lately from 3 to about 4:30 a.m.- sometimes earlier and sleeping poorly makes me unable to wake at 5 and get to the gym. I have been having the most unsettling and disturbing dreams. I don't know if it is stress from work or some kind of omen at this point (prayers appreciated, BTW) anyhow- So tonight- in the dark, cold, rain/snow mix- I headed out with the hubs. What a wonderful support! Neither of us wanted to go. Had either of us said-"Let's just stay in" the other would have completely caved. But we pushed through. I bet I yawned 8 times between home and the gym. I'm thankful for my dear husband and workout partner and his commitment to being strong and healthy. I'm also thankful for my warm bed that I am about to climb into and give this whole sleeping thing another shot. I hope you all find your own Diablo in life if you haven't already. How lucky am I? 💪🏻🤸🏻‍♀️🏋🏻‍♂️💗❄🥱🌨

Thanks, mermee! I guess I should say that I usually workout alone- and I shouldn't say that he is my workout partner- just that we meet at the gym and do our own thing a few nights a week if my mornings are too busy. Mostly he's eye candy. 😁💗

So great you powered through and went anyway! There is nothing like having a partner that spurs you on!!! But mine was chatty patty last night! Seemed like he drank a bunch of coffee or something. 🤣This post didn't show up in my feed and I'm happy you got better sleep last night. I'll pray for you too. I think dreams seem to be the subconscious mind trying to process events. Kind of like defragmenting a computer. Ever since the pandemic I've continued to have dreams that I forgot to use PPE and social distance and that I was exposed to the virus. I don't consciously think about it much because we never go anywhere, but it's obviously got me worried to dream about it so much.

Bearnoggin- Just saw this. Yes- Dreams are so crazy! Just knowing that I agreed to do the vaccinations today for our company made me dream nutty things all night. In one I forgot all about it and was late and then in another, I gave the shot to Diablo IN HIS EYE. 😲 And then dreamed it was pouring rain and I had to give the shots outside in a tent. 🤷🏻‍♀️😬😊

Oh my gosh DP! In a way that's funny!!! But it just goes to show you that it was really on your mind! Hope you sleep better now that you did them today!!!
