Our hummingbird rescue. Hubby found him tangled in a spider web. We think he flew off after we left him to get his bearings. We fed him some sugar water with a straw to help him get his energy back up after his ordeal.

The red on his little chest was translucent. Hubby held him in his hand and pulled the web off with tweezers. I cut a few strands with little scissors. I knew they're supposed to eat often & Hubby came up with the idea of using a "tube" to feed him. I found the straw.

Carol, I'm at the Savannah airport waiting for my daughter to arrive now. My sisters & nieces are driving in. We drove thru heavy rain to get to the airport this morning, but it's sunny with a few clouds here 🌞
