debbra's Journal, 03 Dec 08

Well, last night I couldn't sleep from hunger; so I ate what I thought was too much. Now, usually this would have sent me into a tailspin, and I would have proceeded to eat too much. But I decided to sit down and enter my food on my diet calendar. I was very surprised that the sum total of what I ate was much less than I had thought. According to the numbers, I even came in at less calories consumed than expended for the day. This really surprised me. In the past I would have thought that I blew it and I would have continued to eat, diving into the most fattening foods I have in the house, the peanut butter and jelly on bread, for example. I've really learned a valuable lesson.
