In the years I’ve practiced yoga (albeit on and off) it’s biggest benefit was mobility, how I move and posture my body, core strength and balance. This has permeated into other trainings and improved my form and therefore aided in my journey.. hope this helps. (as an aside, I see your goal is 45kgs? Unless you’re quite short or a teenager, that’s considered clinically underweight)

I am short 😅😅😅. Id be happy with 46 or 47, my physio indicated that one of the things i can do is just to drop a bit (i tend to fluctuate alot from 52kg-58kg). I have flat feet and its affecting my left foot more then the right one and i am very active in terms of sports (play netball, run long distance, cycling and aerobics from time to time). I know that with my height being 46.9kg id still be regarded as healthy. Ill just be maintaining when i get to that weight. 🙏🙏🙏🙏 thank you for responding.

Ok homie! ☺️👌🏾 Yeah I thought it might be a physiological thing. More importantly 😉 yoga also helps with strength. I’m still too top-heavy, but it’s helping me get to a point where I can do more than one push-up✌🏾😬

Yoga has helped me a great deal! It tones you up so you do shed off fat but you get to a point we’re you are building muscle and muscles weighs more than fat so the scale might tell you that you haven’t lost weight but you will see it in your body. You will also begin to feel very strong and you will feel AMAZING

I love yoga. And when i do it regularly i lose weight, even if i am not dieting. i think it gets your metabolism up and running agsin.

You get different types of yoga. A strength based class would help you to tone and slim down. But any class would get you moving which is always good and help lower cortisol levels which hinders weight loss. I’m a yoga teacher and have noticed that my regular clients are stronger and leaner. I currently do online classes via zoom. You are most welcome to join for a free trial class. Let me know if you are interested.
