I sometimes wish we could get a calorie refund for the stuff that didn't taste as good as we imagined it would! We get a chance every morning to start again! You can do this!

I use to do the same thing every weekend.. then the damn cravings again on Monday till Thursday. Just when I get rid of them, I eat refined sugar and carbs again. So I set myself a goal. No refined carbs or sugar for 6 months to teach myself some self control. Still baking and cooking cakes and pasta for the family. Just not eating it myself. I’m learning that I don’t have to eat it. When I do eventually hit my goal weight. I will eat it on weekends. Let’s face it. We will always be around sweet treats and fattening carbs. It’s been 2 months since I touched any beautiful treats. I’m going to keep going until May, just to create a habit. I got tired of yo-yoing in weight. I Will leave that cycle for maintenance. Time to get fit and keep it that way. We can do this 💪🏼

I understand some people have an obsessions with food. I feel that it is good if there is a balance. We should not cut out all the yummy foods. but rather co centre on being in a calorie deficit, so that you can still enjoy something yummy now and then. it's just my 2c

If that’s what you feel is right Trish, then it’s right for you. There is no wrong or right. Just personal preferences. Will definitely incorporate yummy foods after May. It’s just a personal goal of mine: and it’s worked for me in the past to reset the taste buds. And to have more self control.

Calorie wise, I see Saturday and Sunday the same as any other day, but you have to do what works for you!

Yes we should all do what works for us. I dont think what I was trying to say has come across the right way. I did not mean that on a Saturday and Sunday just eat whatever. What I meant was, You could still have something yummy and still be in you calorie deficit.
I was simply giving advice on what has worked for me. I have previously deprived myself of all the things we see as fattening and I would just feel so deprived so when I do end up eating "something" I "should'nt" I ended up over doing it and go on binge spree. Hence the reason I believe in balance.
But I must say that I feel alot better when I am eating cleaner.

Had options for Gatsby's and McDonalds and a very generous braai evening. Turned it all down. The Gainz Gods will smile upon me come weigh day. #blessed
