"Gargoyle," my fridge cat, is not being successful at keeping me way from the yummy food within. Perhaps it is the weather or the dark or working out really hard, but I am so hungry lately. My self-control is wavering.

Hang in there, you can do this. Try to find something to distract yourself. Do like Bella and make a cute clutch or tote.

Love the kitty! Reminds me of a cat I had about 10 years ago "Little Guy". Food is tempting when it's around the house, so I understand what you are going through!

Your cat looks like he/she's hanging paws over the doors to lock it. Idea. Smart Fridge, weight required to unlock doors, then based on weight, certain compartments either lock/unlock.

Love it! I get a similar face on my pillow every morning, if I hit the snooze alarm more than once.

Thanks guys! I think I shall do a lot of cleaning and very little eating today! 😁 Love your idea for weight sensitivity on doors, rgaDawg! Unfortunately for us, food is available more than just in a fridge! 😁 Chestnut, he is a little over two years old. Gargoyle is the most gentle cat I've ever had, so he really is no use as a guard even if he looks cross, liv! ♥️

melissatwa... to one of my greatest cheerleaders... I am cheering you on! Keep the activity level up... and enjoy your favorite foods in moderation. I figure if I am busy making sure everyone else has food, maybe I will concentrate less on serving myself. Good thing is that my family now sees/knows how far I have come, and they don't judge or question my smaller than usual portions. I am certain your family understands and supports you also.

Thank you so much, Twiga! Your support means a great deal! Tomorrow a group of "my" international students are coming over to cook! They are excited to banish me from my kitchen and cook African food. I will eat but maybe nothing between now and then! I will also take pictures. I wonder what food you might recognize. Two of the girls planning to head up the cooking are Burundian, so from very close to your second home. I wish you could be our guest!

melissatwa... Please do share photos of the African feast! I'm sure you can have a taste of everything... with every taste in moderation. Enjoy!

Haha, thanks Bella. John, he is a very concerned watcher! 😁 Twiga, they banished me from my kitchen! All I can hear is the chopping and sizzling and laughter! The smell of... Well, yummy stuff is wonderful. I haven't eaten... Well, let's just say a long time, and I can't wait!! ❤️ I did see about a dozen plantains on the counter. So excited!
