Throwback Thursday. The most frequently asked question I get is if I had weight loss surgery. I did not. I joined the gym in 2014 and changed my eating habits. I have nothing against weight loss surgery, I just didn't go that route. If I had I would tell y'all. I'm very honest about my weight loss journey. So if y'all ever have questions ask me. I'd rather get asked than have people assume.

It took me 14 months to get down from 280 to 141. I count calories I do both cardio and strength training. But then I got lazy in my eating habits and gained back 60 lb. So I cleaned up my eating habits incorporated more strength training, and in 9 months I went from 204 lb to 136 lbs. Learning a very valuable lesson that you can't work out like crazy and eat a bunch of crap at least I can't. I know there are people that can eat a high-calorie diet and workout but my body just doesn't work that way so I do watch what I eat and I still do both cardio and strength training. But I do have cheat days where I will eat what I want.
