Thanks guys! I loved your casino burger pic, Fritzy! I have to weigh in every day. It's what I like to do. I'm only a bit upset when gains really weren't expected - but even then... I'm pretty ok with it since I know I'm working so hard. I'd feel bad if it was because I was no longer sticking to the plan and going back to old habits...which I have done my whole life, BTW...but this time I have it figured out and I'm doing well. Good day, friends! Gym time over...off to work!

Ups and downs are inevitable DP, the trendline and non scale victories are where the rubber hits the road. I had a month in the middle of my weight loss that had a zero loss (but also a zero gain) in a month of travel and LOTS of socializing...that was a big win mentally for me. If what you're doing is working, then no changes required...when or if it stops working, adjust as needed you'll be fine!!

@DP right there with you. this is why I mostly post pics of food and dogs and that's if I can figure it out in the moment. currently logging weight most of the time and the pics get complicated anyways. I don't feel the need either. As long as the pants continue to need a belt these days, it's all good.

I respect the hell out of people who do but if we all went private it would be very boring around here and we'd miss the inspiration of successful people like you #2) Good for you III) I forgot where I was going with this but I did google the Giordano's Deep Dish and it looks delightful and while it's very cool that they'll ship to me $75 for two pizza's, wow and finally Z) Yeah, this is one of those very long comments and if you're reading it I obviously didn't come to senses and delete it.

Also to clarify... I don't have a Giordano's. 😢 I was eyeing someone else's post and I ❤️ Giordano's. So...went with another pizza place. It did not compare to Giordano's. I even ate 2 1/2 pieces to be sure. 😆

Ha - nope. I was going to give you a hard time about 'hey, I FINALLY FREAKING post a photo and you come out with the photo negatives today??' but I would have been teasing. BUT- AND THIS IS IRONIC - I 'nearly' took a photo of my legs because yesterday my Grandson (who works out at PF) commented 'wow, Nana, muscles!!' .... and he didn't ask to borrow money after so I knew it was legit. Hahahah I'm going for more coffee now. Later!

I was private on here when I joined in 2011. I figured I didn't want anyone seeing/ judging what I ate or weighed. When I needed a "tune up" in July I decided to become public. I never paid any attention or read anyone else's posts in the past. Now, I really enjoy seeing everyone's posts & would miss them if they all went away. I like hearing everyone's back stories and feel truly happy for their successes. I like seeing pictures...putting a name with a face. And I love to post food pics for people that seem to appreciate them 😊 Reading about other's WOE, downfalls, food suggestions & exercise programs has helped to motivate me this time around. I am doing this for me but it's fun sharing.

DP, pizza is the item of the week! Joe made whole wheat pizza dough and we've had homemade pizza with homemade marinara sauce (I made that) with a combo of toppings, nothing fancy, just chicken, olives and fresh mozzarella (fresh by market standards) and we've had pizza twice so far this week. Deeee-liciousssss!!! 🍕🍕🍕❤😋😋😋

SherryeB... I was private for a long time, too. Going "public" has kept me more accountable than I ever would have guessed it could. I'm stubborn and competitive and refuse to fail in front of others. 😉 Becca- that sounds so good!

People need to realize you can fluctuate +/- 10% just from water and other bodily processes day to day, even without eating a bunch. Try being around 300+ pounds and seeing the scale move up to 10lbs in a day. Look at your trend.. If that's going up then you should worry.
