I gained back most of what I lost on my four day water fast last week. But the welcome effect is that my high blood pressure seems to have reset to a much lower level. I suspended my BP med to keep from going too low. I've settled now for a week at a lower level than I ever achieved with the meds. Definitely an non-scale victory!

I think I've read that many women find that either IF or a day fast is most effective. I think they recommend 36-48 hours over at the Jason Fung centre. So better to do shorter and more fasts than a long one maybe. But congratulation on you BP. I guess you have to monitor is very closely?

Great result in the BP department. Improving health is the name of the game, ultimately.
