Hello! I am a meat eater but I’m trying to reduce my meat intake to only a couple days a week. I’m wondering what everyone’s recommendations are for the best non meat proteins , THANKS!

A protein shake?

I use Amp 100% whey protein advanced from GNC. It's a chocolate shake mix and it's really good! It's like having dessert... I've compared other products as far as Cals, fat, carbs and protein content and I felt this one is the best overall for keeping calories down and getting as much protein per gram of powder mix as possible. I'll have this usually after a workout but also on days when my protein intake is low. Cheap way to get more protein. One serving 30gr costs $1.02 ( 2.9gr Ncarbs, .97gr fat, 23.23gr protein, 116.13 cals). I have the vanilla one too but it's not as good as the chocolate, and they make strawberry.

Also, I will add some banana, whipping cream, choc syrup, peanut butter... great way to have a power packed dessert. All depends on my menu plan for the day and what I can get creative with.

Hi! I’m vegetarian I highly recommended “yves” brand veggie ground round! It looks and tastes just like real beef and you can add it to any recipe that would normally get beef! Also cook with lots of veggies!

Chick peas are the best, put them in salads or eat them as a soread in hummus!
