JMA312's Journal, 03 May 10

I didn't do journal entries over the weekend. Things were just a little busy with my folks (my mom has Alzheimer's and dad has Parkinson's & is diabetic) they are ok though so don't worry. Just very time consuming and energy draining.
I stayed true to my WOE, but I did have 'thoughts'. But now the difference is I can recognize when these 'thoughts' will come through and I know IT is my addiction trying to creep in. NOW I can talk to myself and work through this, in the past I let IT take over. NO, NO more I will talk this over with myself and I will be true to me and my WOE/WOL. There is no other option.
I normally try to put in a journal entry in the morning but this AM I had to go to work early and may have to tomorrow also, but I'll try add to this journal entry this evening after my bike ride. It is important that I take that 30 min. bike right every day (I missed yesterday and I can tell).
ADDED: Yep I went for a 30 min bike ride, so happy I did. Feel very refreshed (especially after a shower) and have an attitude change from the stressful work day.

I am so glad for you that you are getting stronger, and being able to put those thoughts "in check" is so, so important! Well done!! Enjoy your bike ride.

Ooooh, bike riding. Loved it when I was a kid but haven't gone in so long.
