I started a morning fast today. When you sleep your body is fasting and I tried to not eat until I really felt I needed something. I drank a lot of water, went to the shop on an empty stomach and didnt buy anything that was not on the list. I parked far away and walked like someone on a mission. Im proud of day 1 and hope I can continue to do this for at least a week to see how my body can adapt to it.
72.4 kg Lost so far: 2.6 kg.    Still to go: 7.4 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

I fast 6 days a week. From around 5pm to 12 noon next day. Part of my life now. I love it and actually can't wait to start fasting in the evenings. You are allowed black coffee or tea while fasting. Can't go without my morning coffee.

Thanks for the advice, I’m going to aim to stretch my fast (day one started with 5.5 hrs since I woke up). That morning coffee yes, it’s difficult without it but I’m also aiming to break my coffee habit (I’m already on less than 10 cups a day) I used to eat a packet of crisps and a bar one every day - I dropped them cold turkey about a month before I joined FatSecret. I also dropped all proceessed foods, pastas, breads and cookies. So far so good without all these although I do miss my pastas & bread a lot. Aiming to eat more healthy & green and build a sustainable diet on that

Download an App like Vora or iFasting. I have iFasting. Target setting is 16 hours., Start fast after dinner. App keeps me motivated and like looking at the graphs of the month.
