HI Digipixs79 I am doing a lifestyle diet making sure my makros are balanced and my body is not wanting for anything. It's not your normal diet and not as strickt it is extremely healt orientated though.

Please don't take this as (harsh) criticism as it is hard to denote tone of voice in internet correspondence but in my humble opinion your carbohydrate (sugar) intake could be a bit lower especially considering that you are diabetic 2. I'm sure with a few tweaks here and there it can be done ;-) :-)

Lowcarbfemmefit I will never see it as bad :). I don't eat bad carbs only good low GI carbs. I am looking at a carb cycling but yes I am working on the carb thingy. Problem is everything has carbs in even your chicken.

Thats awesome! Avoiding the bad carbs... I call them them the processed white carbs (bread...buns...bagels, rice, pasta, cereal, flour) and of course simple sugars like table sugar and high-fructose corn syrup is a major step in the right direction. Some people don't seem to have much of a problem but for those of us who are a little insulin resistant or carb sensitive we need to be a little more cautious to keep the blood sugars stable. I answered with trepidation as there seems to be a lot of "carb wars" on fatsecret... where some people take exception to this lifestyle...not realizing we are all different with different needs. I do however know that diabetes 2 requires more restriction hence my reaching out to you. Have a great day!

I have to agree everyone has their opinion about carbs. But then again not all stuff work for all bodies. Any of these plans is by trial and error. Working out what is working for your body. I'm still new at this diabetics thing and I can tell you so far I suck. Never use to be very big sweet tooth... now oh gosh I want all things sweet. But I have a goal so need to just eat a fruit or drink water till it goes away :)
