Yesterday, all I wanted to do was to take just one bite off of the cake that I had to buy for our church gathering!!! And as I dished for the people around me, I thought: when Friday comes and I have had a drop on the scale, I'll reward myself with a piece of cake!! And then the next thought came: I don't need to reward my week's hard work with cake! Because when race day comes on the 18th of June, and I can run faster because I'm lighter, and hopefully even set up a new personal best, it WILL ALL HAVE BEEN WORTH IT!!!! #HoldingOutOnCake for what I really want!! Don't give up what you want most, for what you want right now!
