I can relate to this. Constant pain robs you of any motivation you had to do something positive. I have been in constant pain since October 2016 and the medication didn't take the pain away and only made the depression worse. I dropped all medication and decided to live with it and deal with it one day at a time. I don't say you should do that though. I am saying I get where you're coming from.
Your pain appears to be fixable in the long run so just hang in there. It gets better.
Why don't you try a ketogenic diet if you are gluten intolerant? It worked like a charm for me and the results are almost instantaneous.
