The first week of the reverse diet went well. I'm still losing weight, so I can continue gradually increasing total calories.

On a weight loss diet, you gradually decrease the calories you consume, until you reach your goal. With a reverse diet, you gradually increase the calories you consume, until you reach you maintenance level of calories where you no longer gain or lose weight. So it's the diet process in "reverse".

I'm following a Flexible Diet (IIFYM - If it fits your macros)
This is my first time ever that I went on weight loss diet, so I gathered as much info as possible. The version I'm following is a cross of the following articles I found that helped me the most:

http://www.powerliftingtowin.com/how-to-diet-for-powerlifting/

I follow a girl on Instagram that's also following a diet like yourself and she post alot about cupcakes and cookies she can eat due to the macros of her other food that was/ is low , it sounded very complicated but I will have a read that you have posted, well done so far on your journey and please keep us posted on your progress . this girl lost a lot of weight on this type of diet.
