Lost about 13kgs over the last 14 or so months which is good...but I also realize that had it not been for the scale and my jeans, I wouldn’t have realized it because when I look in the mirror I still look the same, still not pleased with what I see and It really made me realize that our perceptions of ourselves and effectively what we see when we look at our own reflections in the mirror is more powerful than anything else.
Changing how you feel about yourself doesn’t necessarily start on the scale, it starts internally and that can be even more difficult than a weight loss journey tbh
