So I figured out why the flu has been troubling me so often recently.

Initially when I got it I didn't go to a GP and used usual home remedies to get rid of it but that didn't really get rid of it but probably weakened it a bit. Then when that flu powered up again I went to my GP and he gave me an injection and some meds. I assumed it was the usual penicillin shot for the flu but it was actually an anti-inflammatory voltaran shot because penicillin is now useless against these new strains of flu that's going around! The flu virus keeps evolving but the penicillin used has been the same for over 70 years.

I went to my other GP yesterday and he gave me a shot of something that is stronger than traditional penicillin and is being rolled out as the replacement.

I definitely feel a difference and I'm resting so that I can hit the gym from Monday and reboot this journey :)

very detailed. Yea it's tough getting rid of a virus. sometimes it helps to increase vitamins and liquids together with flu tabs other times it doesn't and you have to use those antibiotics. I've found training lightly helps my immune system not weights. Rule is anything above the chest go run . Good luck hope your system is up and running soon.

makes no sense why he would give u that shot. I live in a house full of doctors so thats really confusing

Any advise what is the best for flu. My husband has it and is coughing having a runny nose and he said his head is saw all the time. He is on blood pressure and cholestol tablet and I got him something from the pharmacy but it does not seem to get better and he is on his 6 day of being sick. I suggested going to the doctor to get antibiotics but he said he is not sure if he has to maybe suffer it out or go. Any suggestions?

Suffering it out isn't a good thing. Best to go to a gp and get a shot.
