I'm a sporty lass with a weakness for fruit. Over the past few months I've been struggling with just not feeling great, developing sensitivities to foods (bloating, discomfort) - not helped at all by being a bit too stressed for my own good.
Although my natural eating tendencies are pretty healthy, I've needed to look at my diet for some time. Since cutting out fruit (sugar, sugar, sugar!) and fruit juice (sugar, sugar, sugar!), I've felt a dramatic difference. No bloating, no discomfort, better digestion...
I'm following LCHF guidelines - not strictly, but keeping an eye on my logs and how I feel.
My weight has generally been very steady - between 61-63kg for my adult life. It was only recently that I felt an extra few kilos sneaking up on me - digestion issues, discomfort, bloating (the past two months have been excessively stressful and busy - it manifests in my belly). Within two days of cutting out fruit, I was feeling 'normal' again ;)
