How did you do that in a day🤔😱🙌

@leanneJ: no red meat day. Had hake and calamari tubes in butter sauce and a salad for lunch and two hake fillets with cauli broc and someother veg for dinner. Red meat is my poison, love it but it does slow down my weight loss

Well done FM!!!You’ve been a great inspiration. I’ve lost 11kg since 02 June. Which is great but I’m at a plateau for 2 weeks now and badly want to break the 3 digits for good. Lately it’s been 97.6- 100.1😡😡🤷🏼‍♀️ of clean eating and I’ve not cheated. the daily weigh has become an absolute nightmare for me. I still have 30kg to loose. How do you keep at weighing daily without being demotivated? Also,How do you break the plateau? I tried the 🍎 or 💦 fast but then back at 3 digits

I've been following Mike since I joined fat secret sometime last year and what's wonderful is that he cheats on the weekends and is good in the week and in that way he has managed to balance enjoyment of food with hard work... Mike can tell you more... I think he's already lost 50 kgs.. Stand to be corrected... And also he eats sufficient calories.. No starting here...

Thanks. I want to loose body fat and not fluctuate by loosing water weight from either Apple or water fasts. I eat clean and do my walk/runs 4x weekly. Not sure where I’m going wrong

how much calories do u eat jane
29 Jul 20 by member: }salt and pepper
@Jane: how many cals u eat is important! With the daily weigh-ins have you taken note of the foods you ate when you gained and the foods you ate when you lost?

The last 3 weeks average calories: 2 weeks ago- 565 calories Last week -517 calories And I’m now at 315 calories for this week

315 calories a day? Did I understand that correctly?

Yes, N. I’m trying the Granny Smith apple detox to break the plateau.

Ahh ok.. just don't eat that little on a normal day.. you'll collapse :P.. try to not go below 1200 calories as it could negatively affect your metabolism

I’m in ketosis and don’t have much of an appetite.
29 Jul 20 by member: charmilljane
How did you overcome it
29 Jul 20 by member: charmilljane
I had protein shake in the morning and 2 apples at lunch and keto stick is still of a darker shade(large 8.0mmol).

Some people can digest fruit well and have no problem burning through fructose. Apples and oranges are good for fat loss, same as watermelon and other fruits high in water and fiber, contrary to what the keto police think/say 😂

You can have 2 servings of oranges or apple but not both in one setting. I’ve tried it now for 3 days but it’s clearly not sustainable. I suppose that’s what one gets for being too desperate breaking the plateau. I’ll try to increase my calories for now and see how it goes.

I think that quick fixes are tempting but don't always work... Just be consistent and the kgs will drop in a maintainable way for sure even on a plateau... Last year early December a couple of friends from here did a 7 day water fast.... They lost pretty well but as soon as that fast was over... The kgs went up very quick.... Best to be consistent...

@Jane:- my 5 cents is as follows. You have stalled your metabolism and its in survival mode. Storing everything for a rainy day when it may need it. My advice is: go rouge for 5 days, eat 2000 to 2500 cals a day. You will pick up some kilos, but it’s necessary. Then get into a 1200 cal a day routine thereafter with macros at 25% carbs, 30% good fats, 45% protein. 2.5 liters water min. If the plateau persist, increase by 100cals for the following week. Also good things to try is a smoothie in the evening, rather than a meal. One or 2 nights a week. Lastly, anything under 1200 cals for you and your weight class is just not healthy. The mind tells us the less we eat the more we should loose, but its the exact opposite. Good luck
