It happens. I also did 3l yesterday and stayed in calories and had less than 20g carbs and I 'gained' 400g. Don't sweat the small stuff. I would normally go off the path if this happens, but I am determined to continue!

Thanks MvanRhyn. I just think it’s so demotivating to step on a scale and see regression instead of progression, especially after a hard day of eating healthy. We can do this.

Hey there, just my 2 cents. When you consume carbs or salt it causes water retention so your body holds on to the water you drink, this isn’t that that you’ve gained but just water weight and it will go away in a day or two so don’t be discouraged 🙇🏾‍♂️‼️🥇.... KEEP GOING‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

Hi Papi Pablo, I think the confusion came about because I don’t do a no carb diet as I eat carbs everyday within my limit. Maybe there was more salt than usual, in my diet. Thank you for your response, will keep going ❤️❤️❤️

try weighing just once a week👌🏼and not every 2 to 3 days

Don’t stress the small stuff. You’ll probably find that tomorrow when you weigh again it’s less again and not just because you ate healthy but because that’s just how our bodies work. Last week I fluctuated between 600 grams give and take but my average for the week was less than the previous week. Rathe Weigh everyday and on the 7th day work out your average for the week. Then keep that weekly average as your true weight instead of your daily weight which will always be changing. Our bodies don’t have the same clock that we live by. 24hrs for you is not 24hrs for your body. Your body doesn’t work off time like we do. Anyways hope that all makes sense lol. Just keep at it and remember that Consistency is always key, even if you see small fluctuations. It’s totally normal. 💪👍🌺🌼

Thanks for the advice Marku232. I’ve tried weighing once a week, the suspense is just too overwhelming 😂😂😂

Oh wow, that seems like a good idea listentoyourbody, I think I need to stay focused, it’s just so disheartening to see the scale go up when I’m trying so hard. Your advice is great. Good luck with your journey! 💜

I agree with everyone on here...to sum it up just wait it out a bit yeah its frustrating and annoying I know because I'm currently going through the same thing. You'll be on track soon enough again Tileshsa...if not we can look at other solutions.Dont be discouraged you can without a doubt get through this!!👍👍

you are doing amazing! all that matters is you are trying. 400 grams could literally be from anything. Rather focus on how well you have done already!

No need to worry about that! It's probably just water weight and isnt actual weight gain ✨
