Perhaps evaluate what you eating and what exercise you're doing. Keep it consistent and you will lose consistently.

I tried keeping it consistent and it still fluctuates been going up and down never lower than 58 for months ... I eat healthy between 1000-1200 cals and do about 8-10 hours exercise per week (only strength training) previously doing this the weight came off easily i got down to about 55 but now its refusing ... maybe need to add in some cardio

You can try two things: 1. Calorie cycling 2. Reverse dieting. Which basically entails raising your calories gradually for a short period and then lowering them again. Might help break the plateau. Otherwise I think your body is at it's preferred weight hence it is refusing to budge.

Did you calculate your ideal weight... What is your height. You may already be at goal weight. Also its possible you are eating too little for the amount of exercise you are doing.... What did your personal trainer say... Another one...are you sure you are tracking 100 % correctly?....some of the possibilities

Well i was lower before and for my ideal weight is 49 - 52 KG as i am 157cm ... i already tried calorie cycling and i refuse to believe this is the ideal weight as i still have plenty excess fat

In that case, try fasting...

Ok. We are the same height and i have the same goal weight... Did you measure your fat percentage as its highly possible that you are reducing your fat percentage and increasing muscle with all the added strength training....and muscle weighs more than fat...

Stay away from rice, potatoes and starchy foods. I’m sure you already stay away from junk food. Eat protein, healthy fats and green veggies. You will drop very quickly. I’m taller than you and I’ve gone down to 50kgs as a teen just sticking to those type foods. And I had mostly water. No sugar. I maintained by sticking to that during the week. And weekends I would eat what I want. I use to be very active. Went to the gym 5 times a week for 2 hrs. And karate classes four times a week in the evenings for 2 hours. I was 85kgs and it took me around 7-8months to lose all the weight. I didn’t stay at that weight. I put on 5kgs of muscle. You can do it. Just have to start cutting more on the carbs.

Fasting will definitely get you there faster. Like Edikotope suggested.

Hi if you're only eating 1000-1200 cals a day and you're not losing weight then you're adding extra calories somewhere that you're not aware of, such as juices, sauces on your meals ect. OR you're eating so few calories that you body just stores it as fat as it's in starvation mode? If anyone tells you to stay away from Carbs you should run away. Carbs aren't the enemy, without carbs you will feel flat and have no energy (obviously don't go crazy). When you hit a plateau you should have a Carb day where you load up on potatoes, rice ect.. This will spike you Leptin levels which will assist you to drop weight.. Google leptin levels for more info. keep at it, I'm sure you will come right

No one said carbs are the enemy... eating healthy carbs are great. But when you are eating potatoes and rice everyday. The weight just stays the same. I love my carbs. I have a day with 300grams of carbs. Then I cut the next few days.

No such thing as starvation mode lol. Just the metabolism slowing down and the thyroid gland not performing like it should when your body adapts to very low calories. That’s where calorie cycling helps.

Refined carbs are bad and I'm sure no one needs them for survival. Green veggies have good carbs. Even then they should not be eaten in large quantities. So no one ever said stop eating carbs. Just stop having processed and refined carbs. And I agree that starvation mode doesn't exist, in fact not while fasting. Everyone has a school of thought around dieting and what works for one may not for another. So I certainly hope you find something that works amongst the great suggestions posted to you here @Blood Rose

Edikotope 👏🏻 I agree. I’d like to add. I’m not a vegan but I will never shut down a vegans choices. Everyone has their own ideas what is good for them.

You're doing great, be patient and appreciate how well you've done so far. Some advice I got which is working for me: 1. Track your intake. 2. Don't drink energy. 3. Avoid refined sugar. 4. Plan & Prep meals. 5. Find enjoyable exercise.

if you are doing that much strength training you will definitely be gaining a lot of muscle! switch some sessions to cardio and try increasing calories by just 200kcal and see if it helps🥳 also.. there is a difference between starch and carbs.. carbs is your friends... stay away from too much starches

Congratulations on your journey so far. Amazing results. In my honest opinion you can't do both. If your goal is just weight loss then stick to it. Maintain your cardio and toning with low calorie intake will strip the weight down. If you training for strength then scale watching is counter intuitive. My weight has been about the same for the past 4 to 5 months since I've started training with weights. I track my change in cms in the problem areas and just enjoy the benifits of being strong and healthy
