I am not sure if anyone else struggles with this but my weight loss is not constant and in motion, despite sticking to my calories, plan and macros. I seem to lose a big amount and then stall, stall, stall (for what feels like for weeks) and then lose another decent amount and then the process is on repeat 🙄 Do you weigh weekly? Monthly? What works best?

PS I do check for Ketosis daily and I am in it nicely every morning.

I weigh weekly - if I stall the I go back to the caveman eating as I call it only meat and water for 7 days that usually kickstarts my weight loss again.

Just had a quick looksee at your weight loss journey - you are actually doing great with a loss of 6.4 kg in one Month.

Thank you for the feedback and for the comment re my journey so far. I guess I have the expectation that every time I get on the scale it will be lower, even days apart, and when it isn't I start to question if I am doing it right. But.. I have lost overall, I have lost cm definitely (although haven't measured still), I am never starving and I have been focused on each meal and putting in the right action.

I thought I'd come on to your page now :). I weigh in daily. It helps me keep track of how my body reacts to certain things. Drink more water than usual one day, I loose maybe 100g or stagnate. Few days before my period I stagnate for a while then drop 1kg suddenly. Its a lot hotter outside the day, your body retains water. I have noticed that weightloss is consistently inconsistent. Try and do measurements as well. It can be your accurate sometimes when the scale doesn't show any movement.

Excellent feedback, thank you. I never thought about it from the perspective of seeing the effects of daily choices and how my body responds. I only saw it from the point of view of beating myself up if I am not dropping daily. I did measurements (finally!) today so will keep track of them for sure. Really appreciate the insight PS; I started at a similar weight to you and have about the same to lose so keeping an eye on your journey for motivation!

I weigh myself on weekly basis. Some weeks the weightloss is a little some weeks its drastic. After weighing in, I usually reflect on how my week was food wise and exercising. If i notice that i was doing well most of the time, i tweak my diet/gym session a little the following week and in most cases that works for me. If i realise maybe i wasn't as strict as should have been on myself, then I know i have to work on having healthy habits consistently the following week.
