@OperationLoseEverything - I first heard the term fake-aways from my friend who does Slimming World in the UK. It's basically healthy homemade versions of all our favourite Friday night Takeaways. Fish and chips are grilled instead of deep fried in batter. Baked sweet potato chips instead of deep fried potato. I love Currys and burgers and pizza and pasta and nachos. Lol. All the really good stuff. So I make my own healthy version that way I never feel like I've had to give up all the foods that I really enjoy.
Burgers are bunless ostrich meat usually. Currys are tomato or green curry based. Pizza are on Truly Good veggie bases. There are so many alternatives that you can get really creative.
