Love it. I'm still quite shaky on my tripod headstand but I'm getting there

Well done for trying! I am sure you will get it and become a master at it in no time! ❤️ Tip for "shaky" poses : try to keep your gaze steady🌼

I do yoga on days where I don’t do a run , cycle or HIIT workout. Really helps with opening up the hips, back and overall toning. I just put my mat in my living room and project it on YouTube. I use Shona Vertue, she helped Beckham so I went by that haha

I've recently started. It's been about 2 weeks now. I've really been enjoying it. don't get me wrong though, it's hard. My body was so stiff and I wasn't flexible at all. Im really thankful that my mobility and flexibility is increasing. One day I'd like to do Pilates, which is more movement based.

Yoga is what kick started my weight loss journey:
a)attempting a few basic poses made me realize how pathetically inflexible I had become
b) the accompanying breathing techniques quieted my mind and made me feel in control and confident to quit bad habits ie smoking
c) small victories in the practice of yoga such as being able to touch my toes, translated to me feeling able to tackle more strenuous exercise
d) the simplicity of set up, means a 'Pose' can be practiced in one's office or parking lot throughout the day.
e) it will improve your posture in such a way that, without losing kilos or inches, your body will appear more lean and toned
f) oh and all that improved blood flow from hanging out in unusual postures, as you're pictured doing, will do wonders for your skin... you just glow!
Last but most important, yoga unites the mind and body - intent and action. The body becomes more responsive and sensitive to what you eat and cravings for foods that won't benefit you automatically decrease. When your mind and body are in conversation, you'll become the weirdo that 'craves' broccoli or corn🤷🏽♂️ and you will be happier for it.
Disclaimer: lol, I haven't progressed much beyond basic Surya Namaskars, but hey, to each his own!

I tried it and wow hey it was harder than I thought..kicked my butt😂. I don't think it's for me yet but I do like it for it's increasing flexibility aspect..Not something I'd do regularly though. Looks pretty cool though.

I stretch every day, but don't manage actual yoga very often. Really helps with my upper back when I do it tho

Jon Grant : I am glad you make time for stretching. The upper back takes so much tension due to stress and posture habits (believe me, I slouch so much!) 🙈
