My goal is to be strong and healthy and to maintain a healthy relationship with food. I’m a major foodie, I love to cook and try new foods and when I travel I plan my itinerary around restaurants known for their local cuisine! For those reasons I’m trying out flexible dieting, aka macro counting. My past experience with dieting and restriction resulted in severe undernourishment and a cycle of binge eating as my body tried to compensate. No more of that nonsense! I no longer believe in deprivation.

I’m focused at the moment on becoming the healthiest version of myself, even if that means that I don’t necessarily meet my “goal” weight. I am working on becoming stronger and try to do 3 PWR strength training sessions a week, a BBG Zero HIIT session a week, at least one yoga session and walk as much as I can.

I also really love swimming, though I am neither fast nor graceful at it, floating in a river or a swimming pool or a lake is my happy place - hence I’m a water weed :)
